Surprises in every envelope.

Today I went to hell and back (a.k.a. Walmart) to pick up some film that I had dropped off on Friday. Seriously, it takes 5 days to develop film? You get one hour or 5 days? Anyway, when I dug out my camera the other day there was a half-used roll of film in it and so I finished it up and then wondered what could possibly be on the rest of it.

Today I found out just how shitty of a mother I am.

The film had pictures from when Dollar was a puppy, she's almost 3 now.

There were pictures of when Sophia was a baby, less than a year old, she is 3 now.

And then there were pictures of when we cut all of Sophia's hair off, she was almost 2 years old at the time.

With the pictures I took the other day, that roll of film spanned about 2 1/2 years. I am a shitty mom that should probably take more pictures of my kids.

Well, you make it sound like you don't have another camera that you use all the time! Silly.

I was hoping you were going to share the pictures!! You're not a crappy mom, we all know this, and so do YOU!!

Have a great day!!

J, I know but I never get my digital pictures developed.

Almost...., I was going to share them but I need to hook the computer up to the scanner and I was being lazy last night. I'll try to get them scanned today.

I have, ready for this, 28 rolls of film that need to be developped. Although, I am waiting on Kenny to do it, so I don't have to pay for it. Somehow, I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon, since all of the equipment has been sitting in a box since we moved into this house....over TWO years ago.

I was pondering this same thing the other day. I have tons of pix of my oldest, hardly any, or at least not nearly as many, of my second child.

I have all kinds of unknown rolls of film that I left abandoned when I turned to the digital darkside. Now, I rarely develop pics.
